The Cardano Laser app gets the effect of smart contracts

Leading crypto hardware wallet provider Laser has announced that version 4.0.0 of the Cardano (ADA) app will now be available and will be accessible on Laser Live. This development introduces the smart contract functionality of the ADA ecosystem, one of its new features.

For users, this means they will be able to use and interact with smart contracts directly in the Cardano app.

Last year, Alonzo Hard Fork Combinator Cardano introduced smart contract functionality to the network for the first time.

The main problem back then was that compatibility with the ADA app had been missing for more than half a year. This news was announced via Twitter Ledger account.

The tweet said the app would give users access to the ever-growing Cardano Defy ecosystem through ‘YoROI’ and ‘AdaLite’.

In addition, it says the upgrade will allow users to sign smart contracts in the app.

Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson praised the laser for new developments

Charles Hoskinson Tweet About how laser work has been. He called it an “excellent effort.” As mentioned above in Cardano’s network update, in September 2021, Alonzo brought the first smart contract into effect.

Smart contracts are created and deployed with pieces of code that meet self-directed conditions when ADA was enabled on the mainnet.

Users can now update their Cardano Laser Wallet

Users can now upgrade their Laser Wallet firmware and install the Laser Live app on their smartphones after which they can update the Laser ADA app to the most updated version.

After a successful software upgrade, users will then be able to access ADA’s DeFi ecosystem using YoROI and AdaLite.

With the Vasil Hard Fork upgrade planned in June, ADA and its smart contract platform, Plutus is expecting a big gain.

Hoskinson said the June hard fork combinator would provide “huge performance enhancements for Cardano” and testify to the power of advanced and advanced smart contracts.

The Vasil Hard Fork is scheduled for June 29, 2022. This upgrade is expected to provide a better user experience once it is implemented for both Cardano users and developers.

In the latest network update, IOHK developers are now able to increase block size by 10%. This new development is an increase in the size of the existing block from 80 KB to about 8 KB.

This upgrade, along with other planned updates, is part of the ADA Network Improvements that were and were planned for this year. ADA is currently home to about 900 projects that are running on the network.

There have been fewer than 900 projects before, and the number of projects has increased roughly 77% since March after IOHK Vice President Tim Harrison shared the flow of 500 new projects.
